Fresh Air, Friends and Flowers

Hello there! I mentioned from my last post that I will be busy on the next few weekends. So just to share, last weekend has been super awesome!

My friends and I went on an out of town trip, particularly in Tagaytay. We haven't planned any activity for our getaway. We just wanted to have a taste of fresh air and let go of the stressful and busy city life.

Prior to our trip, we already booked for an overnight stay at Lina's house. It's a three-storey house with swimming pool and a nice view of the lake. The house has three bedrooms and it's more than enough to accommodate the five of us. We were actually allowed to cook and it saved us the costs of eating in restaurants and the likes.

When we checked out the next day, since we did not have any activities set, we searched for the flower farm. My friends have been so patient searching for it. It's an unexpected adventure. Unfortunately, when we reached the flower farm, we were told that farm tour has been closed for a while due to the restoration of their green houses.

Hearing that information, we have decided to buy flowers from the market instead. After the flower adventure, we sat down for a meal and had Bulalo for our late lunch. The city is very well known for it. After finishing our meal, we headed back to Manila.

Well, that sums up my entire weekend. Hope you had a great weekend too!

My Kind of Weekend

Okay. So here I am, updating this blog. I am feeling a bit pressured here.

You know that kind of weekend when you have nothing to do - you sleep all day, watch TV all day or surf the internet all day then you'll realize it's Monday again? It's kinda tiring and frustrating.

And just to share, I am very happy that I was able to keep myself busy for the past weekend. Saturday, I attended the Komikon 2014 and I spent my whole day there. It's a very nice experience indeed. Though it's not my first time to attend the Komikon, I am still amazed by how people share the same passion and interest and by how they are building their connections.

Then Sunday, I went out to see my mother and my younger sister. After having our lunch and after buying out a few items from the bookstore, we talked about where we will have our Christmas and when we will meet again then we bid goodbye.

Then I met up with my best friend and we headed back to Manila together. I asked her to accompany me on meeting my former office mate to get some items that I reserved online. Oh well, I bought two super cute wooden figurines!

Take a look at it! Isn't it nice?

After getting the items, the best friend and I met up with the boyfriend. We entered the mall and bought a pair of shoes then we decided to have our dinner at Buddy's in Cubao.

When I got home, I just realized that I was able to spend my Saturday and Sunday well and I thought it was the kind of weekend that makes me feel productive. So I guess I will be busy on the coming weekends. Teehee!

Start Over

After a while of browsing through the internet, I realized how I really wanted to start blogging, AGAIN. I may not have plenty of time to do blogging but I will definitely keep this one. I haven't wrote any story or whatsoever for almost four years and it makes me feel sad, really. It felt like I have abandoned a part of me along the way. My writing skills may be a bit rusty but I will try my best to get back on track.

This blog will be about my adventures, mishaps, confusions and dreams.
